Shortly Summarizing Up July

Posted on August 7, 2012 at 5:15 PM Comments comments (0)

What a month! No joke about it.

July was a month of "go here, go there, go, go everywhere!" If I can predict it we went to Illinois in the beginning of July. And then we had all kinds of plannings for Florida. During that we had a piano competition and violin competition as well. I lost, but my bro won. Like he is good at anything anyways. A day after evaluation we received our awards (I got none, 'cause I lost, remember?), and then the next day after that it was Florida we went.

Everyone had a great time and best of all going to the places you do want to go aren't as far as you hated it to be! Disney World was much like 20 minutes, but going to Universal Studios Hollywood from Las Vegas to California was practically 6-9 hours long. The only problem was the heat, but let's look at it this way.

  • At Florida, the temperature (maximum) is 97 F, but the temperature at the west is somewhat always between 102-108 F. Probably because it's a desert, whoopie doo.
  • Going to Universal Studios and Disney World or something from the hotel at Orlando took 13-20 minutes, but SeaWorld in California was far, and it took pretty long with an estimate 7 hours.
  • The airport wasn't as big as f*ck at Florida. That's good. But the Las Vegas Airport in my opinion was nicer.
  • Florida was cheaper. The plane tickets and the price for the parks.

To shorten it, in a nutshell Florida was like last year, just better.

Now these trips to here and there can also explain the following:

  • Why I haven't been reviewing the sites that I promised to review for a while.
  • Why I wasn't online at all. Well sometimes due to Wi-Fi Access.
  • Why I haven't been updating my site.

The very last thing though is the RX Network. I released logos (concept so far, might be official) of it. Seemed people like the FONT. By the way it's Arvo but please don't rip me off. I did change my profile picture and I will post more about the RX Network. More news about it next entry. You'll see.

Extra Updates [9]

Posted on June 10, 2012 at 9:15 PM Comments comments (0)

Here comes the next set of updates, whereas today I'm going to talk about the upcoming projects, current projects, logos, reviews, and so much more. This might include the review on Buxster (the fifth site review overall), the stop and hiatus of many site projects, and the very big Isang Binhi project that I told you about a long time ago (though dad said not to, but others do want it.)

BUXSTER AND PARTNERSHIP
Buxster's owner Zane is asking if I can review his site and become business partners. At the moment, I am not planning in becoming business partners with anyone, for I have much anticipated things to do, but I am planning to become big with sites like TrafficHeart, +Social, and maybe Buxster. You might also have to wait on the review on Buxster, because I haven't gotten access on the computer (I was rather using a mobile device, due to the inconvenience of computer use.) But it's halfway finished, and you might not expect what is coming.

SHADOW INFINITE, HAY N' OATS STOPPED
Shadow Infinite has stopped because Ace told me to just stop working on it, being a complete waste of time with limitations, and Rico also told me to stop working on the Hay N' Oats project and just remove it from history. Shadow Infinite has been stopped because of Webs's current failure to produce any "miracles" for free users such as CSS editing for SB3 and more pages. Hay N' Oats is stopping because Rico hated the idea, and so he wants to remove it without hesitation.

A SUPER CONTROVERSIAL LOSS
Ace, Creepster, Pinkie Pie (Rico) and I have been watching PPV boxing at Creepster and Ace's house, Manny Pacquaio vs. Timothy Bradley. Before the games began we played a little bit of board games, and yes, Creepster and Rico was trashing me and Ace for being "poor" and called us "the working class." I called them "Republicans" because they were "rich" and acted "corrupt", and for some reason they found it to be okay.

In the end, we watched the end of the boxing as boxing burns to the ground, because Bradley won with Manny finally losing by a 2-1 margin. In my perspective, Pacquaio beatened Bradley according to stats, numbers, and OUR OWN EYES. Ace, Creepster, and Rico believed Pacquaio won all of the rounds, I thought it was Pacquaio 117-111. This also reminded me of the third Marquez vs. Pacquaio fight, in which Marquez was robbed according to many and they're probably right. However, the difference between these two fights is that Pacquaio beatened Bradley by a far gap, and Bradley wins it. In addition, Bradley later was sitting on a wheelchair. Winners don't NEED wheelchairs AT ALL.

Then again, you know Pacquaio, he's humble and accepted that loss.

When Ace looked at his phone, he said that already 5,000 people are commenting about this shocking moment. Creepster was sleeping already, and Rico called this "stupid", and everyone was like, "What the f*ck is this?" I told them, "Why don't we have one of us drive to Las Vegas and teach those two idiots how to judge?" This is probably how Marquez fans felt when being robbed, lol. But really, it isn't funny.

People are already saying: to boycott boxing, RIP boxing, Manny Pacquaio is still the best boxer ever, etc. They're even encouraging others to avoid watching the rematch this November. Even though Pacquaio clearly won, I expected way better in that fight.

DISCOVER THE MUSIC WITHIN YOU
Isang Binhi's website is now in full preparation, and I'm starting with its logo and upcoming 2012-2014 cover. Here is what the new logo looks like:

The concept logo was darker, had a glow, and had a far more "cursive" and "decorative" calligraphy of a font, but this is more simplified and better. It probably isn't good for the eyes though, but I am planning to make the site white and green. The cover is not finished though, and more news about the upcoming site is coming soon.

Six 9-Point Rallies in Rematch

Posted on June 6, 2012 at 11:05 PM Comments comments (0)

Today was a bowling rematch against me and Rico, who had a fever for a couple of days (just two, that is). If you knew in the previous post, Rico defeat me in four straight games, losing the final two in the same day.

Rico said he just gained his moments in the final parts of the game, so the win was just luck.

"The only reason why you won Red was because I was sick and figured it out in the ending," Rico said, unhappy. Rico was unhappy with the game and unhappy with the results. "You just defeated me ONCE, not three times."

Rico was also not satisfied with how many games we played today.

"We only played one lousy game because you kept on talking," Rico and I told mom. "I knew it and you should've gone. But no, you have to talk about some laptop's password."

He also said, "If we played two games I'd bet I'd beat you in the second."

As the title describes, I have made six straight 9-point rounds, with a total of 9 points for six rounds, 2 spares, and two rounds when scoring 6 points. The record has been tied to 4-3, but Rico said that he is "winning" 4-1. But that doesn't mean it is over.

The reactions of this game were controversial or mixed. I was happy and enjoyed it, but Rico was ticked off and started mocking me about off-topic things. He was super cranky and couldn't get the game over it.

In a nutshell, I won the rematch 96-62.

Hey Rico, Let's Go Bowling

Posted on May 27, 2012 at 11:10 AM Comments comments (0)

At night, during Friday in the 25th of March, we left to go bowling at 9:30 PM.

Now if you didn't know I wasn't able to bring out my superior/stellar performance at that time, because first of all, I like keeping things steady so it will hit and not end up in the gutters (yet dad keeps telling me to use the "force"). Secondly, there weren't any appropriate-sized balls, so that made it just harder.

So who won what? Rico defeated me in four consecutive bowling games in a row, (ended up being 4-2), and dad beat mom in a hot competition (3-2). Mom tied the game up (dad won 2 games, and mom striked back), and we believed that in the first 2 games mom was "not doing her job."

So, here was the score:

1st Game
1. Dad (151) (1-0)
2. Mom (126) (0-1)
3. Rico (81) (1-0)
4. Red (78) (0-1)

2nd Game
1. Dad (154) (2-0)
2. Mom (102) (0-2)
3. Rico (100) (2-0)
4. Red (81) (0-2)

3rd Game
1. Mom (138) (1-2)
2. Dad (122) (2-1)
3. Rico (80) (3-0)
4. Red (78) (0-3)

4th Game
1. Mom (124) (2-2)
2. Dad (89) (2-2)
3. Rico (85) (4-0)
4. Red (69) (0-4)

5th Game
1. Dad (144) (3-2)
2. Mom (136) (2-3)
3. Red (88) (1-4)
4. Rico (71) (4-1)

6th Game*
1. Red (87) (2-4)
2. Rico (85) (4-2)

*The 6th game only consisted of me and Rico, and the game stopped halfway, so we calculated our total scores by estimation and 2nd score.

Oh, and one thing, and here's something saddening:

Rico, during the 2nd game, made 2 strikes in a row (last week I did that and ended up winning in a comeback fashion). In the third attempt, he hit all but one. Dad tried doing that and guess what he got?

A turkey.

After all the determination and sweat Rico made to attempt a turkey, he hit all but that one middle pin (it probably was the middle finger to Rico.) And dad just did it without trying. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

I failed to bowl because the bowl went to the right all the time, so I should do better next time. But ever since I "screwed with the force", I was able to hit 9 pins most of the time (or strikes).

Bro Gets Top Comments

Posted on May 11, 2012 at 5:45 PM Comments comments (0)

I don't know why I decided to type an entry about this, but oh well. :P

My brother started yelling about when all of the sudden I see the following:

You first think that this is not my brother's account (especially because his name is Ultimate9011 or Pinkie Pie / Princess Molestia, which is now Pinkie Pie - Lulz). Challenger90188 is super old (YouTube account is created around 2008-2009) and was Rico's original username. But now I feel sad for myself, because while I get tons of respect online, it seems that Rico gets the fame (for a day, until his top comment is replaced.)

Rico gets more excited when he sees another top comment (from him) and he starts saying, "I must be dreaming. I don't know what's happening but I feel famous."

Unfortunately all of his fame is gone, because by the next day a new top comment arose. Rico started a ragequit, asking me, "Why did he delete my comment?" But the user didn't delete it and Rico was so crazy about this shenanigan that he sent a message about the comment. The user then didn't respond. I told him, "A new top comment will be there every day. So shut the f*ck up and get outta here. My turn!"

So now what is he doing? Now he is making sure that he types comments and gains more fame and thumbs. Sadly, this goal will not last forever.

The First Six Tiring Months Almost Over

Posted on May 11, 2012 at 3:10 PM Comments comments (0)

Life for the first six months of 2012 is almost over, and I feel much better about this because, now, summer is coming our way, no practicing or any of that boring "have-to-wake-up-early" crap and etcetera. Now that the end for all work and no play is near, let me remind you what I am going to do during the summer and what is going to happen in the aftermath:

Shadow Infinite Coming Back? Or Not?
This isn't much of a deal because no one is working on it anyways, but Shadow Infinite will not be deleted or removed from Webs.com. However, there will be no more support from us and any member deciding to join after May 4, 2012 will have their membership declined. Yeah, so Shadow Infinite is a dead site, but it is accessible. Shadow Infinite (by May 5, 2012) became of the Vintage Sites collection, a collection of sites (with the help of myself, that is) that are two years old. It is unknown whether we should reopen it again, but there is no message coming out so far.

AGM, Gone. KKPM, Gone. School, Gone. Everything Stressful, Gone.
Thank God summer is finally here. The stress of waking up early, and even in the weekends, is practically over. I might need to finish a couple of quizzes, tests, and we have one more thing to practice in the KKPM before the summer break, but that is pretty much it. I get to sleep late, wake up late, and relax and sit on the computer as long as I want to. Kinda.

Florida at December 2012
The ultimately next trip is at Florida. Mom announced that the trip will begin during Winter Break at December maybe around Christmas. I don't know what will really happen. So far what we are hearing is that we will stay at Disneyworld, and that's it. The end.

Extra Updates [8]

Posted on May 3, 2012 at 11:10 PM Comments comments (0)

I haven't been using this logo for a really long time, and now it's time to put it up on the internet.

Big things this and last week happened for me and my brother (AGM, Rally, Microwave, and Practice). Plus tomorrow is half day for me! Thank God I am able to relax for a while, and maybe we could play some volleyball or baseball outside (maybe in fact, watch a baseball game for real).

Social Networking
I am going to join in a couple of new social sites. The first I would like to announce is Buxster. I just felt that it's right to join. Yes I do hear music and plus Buxster is a really beautiful site (sadly it's much, much nicer than mine.) but that's what I have to say. Extra social networks include Buddy Web (joined it a long time ago), and soon enough, I will join YouTube (and if possible, again, Wordpress. Or not.)

Reality Check
My mom and I need a new microwave because we have an old one that broke down which is half good and half bad. Bad because it is going to cost us and we can't cook food at a quick pace, but good because our old microwave sucks and undercooks food. :( So that should remind us about that. But in general, we'll end up with 2 microwaves (one old, one used but kind of new.)

Also in other news I have gotten a 2nd place position in the contest. I really liked to be 1st but I expected a lower position as I said in the previous blog post. My brother failed. Well, he actually did very well but his dynamics led to his failing and downfall. Happy to be 2nd, though there was 1 person who completely locked the prize.

Practice is coming up and I feel upset waking up in the morning at 8:00 for choir practice. I need to, however, get there on time so I don't owe late money (a new policy created by Tita Tess and Kuya Aris.) I need to memorize but unfortunately guess who had to fib a bit to get us into much of a schedule?

Shadow Infinite--Done For?
Probably you guys have guessed over the last couple of weeks Aceofshadows (my cousin) stopped working on Shadow Infinite because of the limited number of pages we could use. He asked me if I could try seeing if I could add more than 10 pages. Guess what? It's the same. As a result, Shadow Infinite might end this year.

Home Alone
My mom and dad will be going to Chicago, IL for an important something so I will be alone along with my brother and grandma (she works around the house because she wants to.) But that's really much it.
