1st-Place Runner-Up in AGM Competition

Posted on May 3, 2012 at 8:50 PM Comments comments (0)

It's nice news to know that I won 2nd place even though I did expect much of a lower position (3rd or 4th). This could be because of the catastrophic performances in the same day. Here's what you can expect. Oh, and just to make sure we don't give out info of others, we will not tell anyone their name and other information (personally.)

1st Performance: FAIL
Being the oldest pianist in the group, no offense but he probably forgot half of the song that he was playing. I first thought he was going to take forever, but he started remembering. Unfortunately, he made about 10 forgettable mistakes he was forced to fix. All were recognizable.

2nd Performance: Bad Pedaling; Too Fast
The second performance was the same song played by a girl but this time she didn't make so much mistakes. Some of the mistakes that she made included bad pedaling and too fast of the original tempo. The same song was played, but super fast. Plus, everytime she stepped on the pedal I hear a sound that seems no good for her play. These results led to her failure to contend.

3rd Performance: Good Job (3rd Place)
I think the third girl did a very good job playing the piano, but one thing I needed to know: did she need to pedal? But other than that she did nice playing. However, my mom criticized her with her fingers.

4th Performance: Horrid Tempo; Overall OK
My music teacher told me that this 4th pianist had bad tempo, beating, etc. But I unrecognized it though knowing the mistakes the person made I thought she was OK.

5th Performance: Bad Version of My Song
I just found out that he was playing the same song. Bad tempo.. okay you know what everything sucked: dynamics, tempo, pedaling, notes, you name it.

6th Performance: The Best (1st Place)
This guy is the bomb. He played the song that one of my friends are going to play in the AGM. No mistakes, beautiful playing, I predicted a score of 100/100 out of him.

My Performance: No One Knows (2nd Place)
I didn't do as well as I thought knowing that I made 3 minor mistakes. But how did I get 2nd place? First of all, no one knew what my mistakes were. Second, people were dancing to the music. And finally, loud clapping made the cut.

8th Performance: Crying About It
She played the same song that the 1st and 2nd performer played. Messed up too. And when we left the AGM next thing I heard Rico told me, "I saw a girl crying." I think she needs to get over it. If she practices, you know what kind of good happens.

HibbleLand Videos on the Fritz

Posted on May 3, 2012 at 8:35 PM Comments comments (0)

Much of as you can see will be discussed about HibbleLand for the third time. This following week we made some minor and major improvements on the site (and added some new feats) but there is one thing that we haven't succeeded in just yet and that it's missing: HibbleLand's videos.

Despite the fact that Creepster is offline making Ultimate Retards a reality, HibbleLand's Video Galleria is not complete, mainly because we have a couple of issues.

  1. Rico won't help me with the site nor the videos (even though he and I decided doing this) and he only did the videos only to play.
  2. Rendering the video takes an awfully long time, especially when rendering with Sony Vegas Pro 11. But I do hope that during the later year they do something about their issues such as stabilization rendering (it is worse than Sony Vegas Pro 10) and minor things so then Sony Vegas Pro will be better than itself (and other, you know what.)
  3. Rico will also not take part of anything on HibbleLand. He doesn't really give a crap about the site but instead of the videos, but he's not doing anything about it.

Much of the fact that Rico is making this such as big issue for HibbleLand is making HibbleLand only 90% complete. But oh well.

Until we complete this there's not really much to do in HibbleLand, and that ends it.

HibbleLand's Opening... Kinda

Posted on April 30, 2012 at 7:05 PM Comments comments (0)

HibbleLand is now fully open! Even though Rico and I still don't have the videos, they will be uploaded to the site for all to see. Now this will be a short and simple post, so listen carefully:

This was edited using the new Webs Site Builder. HibbeLand really consists of mostly linked external pages but it will contain currently a home page, a blog, and a video gallery. Extras will be coming soon. What I am so far thinking of adding is:

  • A new guestbook page, for all to comment
  • A contact page, so in case Rico is offline I can give him a message
  • A forums page, members only, for all TF2 users, fanatics, etc.

Another thing I added was a collection of Pawn Tactics Videos that Rico and I recorded (Rico edited and played it) 1-2 years ago. Yes, only three of them are there, and yes again, you should probably wonder why we have that kind of stuff if HibbleLand is about Team Fortress 2? Rico was curious about it, but then again, he didn't give a crap.

What I don't want to hear is that blah blah blah blah My Little Pony and all that sh*t, alright? I'm not going to do anything about it and who does care? Why, I'm just doing this project's work. I did most of the work, and therefore I get most of the credit (as I said in the home page.)

But then anyways, enjoy this site. This site has no intention of being part of "My Websites" list, because, mainly, Rico made the idea after Destructionatore closed down (by the way, if you realized why Rico came back to Webs, it's because we made a deal about something...)

MINOR RENOVATIONS
I didn't do much in the Red Encabo Official Website Blog, but today I am here to tell that I have made minor renovations on the about page. Realizing that there's too much unnecessary information to post, I removed practically half of the page.

TWITTER & YOUTUBE
I have just opened my Twitter page two weeks ago for no real purpose but to tweet what's going on, and I am happy to announce that in the next day 10 people were following me. I actually didn't expect that, but I give thanks to those people. By the way, if your stuff interests me, I'll follow you, so maybe something good return will happen if you ever follow me.

So far we haven't been able to make any real videos, but videos from me will be worked on during the summer or fall. I don't have anything special going on, and I do not have the time. I really hate the new YouTube Channel Template (in case you or I haven't noticed), so the fact that making a nice wallpaper for the channel this late time of year will be difficult. But that's pretty much it.

WEBSITES AT A HALT
All of these sites have been on a hiatus or construction. Why have they not been doing anything and what is going on here?

  • Shadow Infinite -- Telling Ace that Webs will only allow free users 10 pages, he will stop working on the website. "10 pages for a site is stupid," he remarked (something like this, not exact). "How can we add new content? Make a new duplicate of the site?" Until Webs brings 20 pages back and we have actual ideas about it, well, Shadow Infinite might be abandoned, closed, or stopped for a while. The grand re-opening has not been a success, except on Creepster's Lair.
  • Creepster's Lair -- The problem for Shadow Infinite is the same problem for Creepster's Lair. Creepster told me to make a new duplicate, but it failed to do any good. At the other hand this site is at a halt because Creepster has been busy making videos. The two videos that he uploaded is a series called "Ultimate Retards." One is a pilot, and another is the second episode. I think it is completely silly, plus it's kind of (really seriously, a lot) based on Jackass. If he ever wants professional videos, he can always come to me ('cause I'm a geek.)
  • Hibbleland -- Hibbleland is basically done, or is it? While Hibbleland only has a home page and a blog, Rico said "that's the only thing you need, I'll do the vids." What's the point of doing this if all he does is record vids only to "play"?

Extra Updates [6]

Much of what I have to say is about some parts of the internet I'm connected to, but also is about the opening of HibbleLand, and the renovations of my website, Shadow Infinite, and Creepster's Lair.

I joined Twitter today, and a minute later 1 person started following me. I tweeted at least 5-6 times at the same time. YouTube--well, unless I have some vids, why would I need one? I changed the background and designs for Facebook, Twitter, and my site.

Speaking of my site, I added a new background. But that's really much I renovated. Somebody nice today told me it was a wonderful design. While my design has much of its flaws, it was pretty much, in my opinion, the best design I made yet. Creepster's Lair and Shadow Infinite are so far in a quick halt (not really), because I'm deciding its fate. I'm beginning to think people are going to give up on their past and just move on to their lives. Plus, Creepster and Ace has things to do. You might want to see Creepster still for he's uploading new videos. I'm going to help him with the videos. I also told him not to use Windows Movie Maker. First of all, it sucks, and secondly, he has Corel Video Studio so why not use that--I heard it was good. I have Sony Vegas Pro--and in my opinion you can do much more with it than others.

Shadow Infinite and Creepster's Lair does need a renovation, to say the least--I have been working on their design based on some templates but I'm beginning to realize that what I made wasn't really original. If possible, Shadow Infinite and Creepster's Lair will be revamped--a lot. And that's all I can say. What about HibbleLand?

I have been telling many others from around the internet to visit this incomplete site. I'm still working on it and so far I believe it's really nice, and so is the site builder. Check it out, and visit some of my bro's other connected sites--Twitter (his page isn't really updating), YouTube (that also), and Facebook (okay I don't know about that, but oh well.)

Hibbleland: WTF?

Posted on April 3, 2012 at 11:20 AM Comments comments (0)

What in the hell is Hibbleland?

Oh yeah, it's a new website I forced my brother to do. Again I am doing most of the work. Hibbleland is a website mostly about my brother and his desirable passion for Team Fortress 2 and other Steam games.

"I promise you that I will play TF2 for a very long time, Red," Rico told me one day when he received a gift card, which he used to buy some valuable TF2 items, in which he later traded it to receive "refined metal, or ref." He was able to trade in worthless items for 50 refined. Rico told me, "It's one thing to be one proud of. It's easy to earn it. One time some guy didn't know what he was thinking and I was really doing a scam, not a bad scam though, and he was completely clueless. If he actually knew better I would have gotten less from my trading, and I wouldn't have 50 refined in my backpack.

Rico, or Ultimate9011, plays TF2 practically every day. Most TF2 users like this show called "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." Stephen and I agree that MLP: FIM sucked "balls." Rico, well, he watched it, just once, and he told me that it wasn't so bad, but it wasn't good. I told him that MLP: FIM is immature dogsh*t dumbasses watch.

"F*ck you Red," Rico said. "I don't care why people like it. It's not so bad. In fact, you like--"

"BLABLABLABLABLABLABLABLABLABLABLABLABLABLA!!!"

To make things short, Rico was neutral about the show.

So how I did I kind of lure him back to site editing? Well, this is what I told Rico.

"Rico," I asked him. "What would you like having your site to be about?"

"Me and my TF2 experience," he answered. "You know, something like TF2 vids."

Considerably Even More "Agitated"

Posted on April 3, 2012 at 10:55 AM Comments comments (0)

It's April 3rd 2012 right now and today should be the day when my cousins come here. Mom said that since they will leave (or they left) at 4:00 AM in the morning, they should be at our house between 2-4:00 PM in the afternoon today, during me and my brother's music classes (Rico plays violin while I play piano, and we're really ain't-so super-great at doing it.) I also know myself because they are from Maryland, and I have been there around 3-5 times. Since driving there takes 9-12 hours, I had the idea they would come around by that time. Plus they are not on an airplane.

What should we do throughout the day? Well, depending on how much time (they will stay for a day, one before, or two: one before and after the Kalahari Waterpark). This is what mom, Rico and I have in mind. Because grandma just plays along and dad is going to work (for this day, the next day he will be available), they don't count.

  • Red -- Go to an outlet, eat somewhere, and Lazer Tag
  • Rico -- Play at an arcade, eat somewhere
  • Edna (mom) -- Stay at home and eat, Lazer Tag

This day and the next is going to be very exciting. I asked some of my friends that are coming tomorrow, "Can't you wait?" or "Ready for the next trip?" While Ace replied, "I have to anyway LOL," Creepster replied something like, "I can't sleep because I can't wait."

It seems that 18 will be swimming, and 22 will be coming. Mom said that because we don't have the efficient amount of money necessary to truly pay for the Entertainment Villa, Mom unfortunately downgraded us to a Village Suite. It's much like an Entertainment Villa but with only one story (not literally). She also said we will be sleeping on the couches (the younger people are), and the adults are sleeping on the bed. Very sad to me and it seems stupid for the kids to sleep on the floor while the adults get their own room with a nice comfty bed and its own TV--a room where they have--nevermind.

We will leave around 6:00 AM, likely, but not certain, because the waterpark opens at 10:00 AM, and you know, we have to make it worth it. Let's, at least, watch a movie or two, after the swim.

This is going to be exciting--and it's only the beginning.
